I am a Commercial HAB Pilot and received my private pilot's certificate in 2000. My wife Shirley and I own and operate Gibboney’s Aerostation in Grove City, Ohio. We have brought “SnapDazzle” to Marysville for 2006, an Aerostar S60A, 105,000 cubic foot hot air balloon.

I am also a regional pilot for RE/MAX of Central and Northern Ohio, RE/MAX of Western Pennsylvania. I am serving my fourth term as president of the Central Ohio Balloon Club, which is based at Bolton Field Airport, Columbus, Ohio.

This is my fifth year to attend the All Ohio Balloon Fest.

Our most exciting flight was when my wife Shirley and I flew “Red Snapper” for three hours on a very cold winter day back in 2001. We covered 30+ miles and made a high wind landing in a field. Shirley’s large purse fell upside down during the landing, which made the pack-up very interesting.

I took a ride with my wife for our wedding anniversary, which lasted all of 15 minutes, and was immediately “hooked”!
