I have known about the All Ohio Balloon Fest since my high school days. My Grandfather, Fred Blocher, was a Lions Club past state president. He had a number of the Marysville chapter pins, which had the balloons on it, in his collection. When I bought my balloon I called him and asked if he could get me a contact to the event. In a couple of days I received a call from Jack Scott (past organizer) and have been coming up every since. The local friends and crew like Bob & Deb Luzenski are the reasons I keep coming back every year.

Received my pilot’s license in fall of ’92, bought “Adam’s Nirvana” in fall of ’96, and started coming to Marysville in ’97.

Balloons name is “Adam’s Nirvana” named for the first owner, Adam Binkley, who pasted away at the young age of 25.
The balloon is 54,000 CF in volume (would hold 54,000 basket balls).
